ANY EDUCATION MAJOR WITHOUT A BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ONE WITHIN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF THE SEMESTER. ANY STUDENT WITH A FELONY ON THEIR RECORD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE EDUCATION COURSEWORK. ALL STUDENTS IN EDUCATION COURSEWORK ARE REQUIRED TO JOIN SMSTA. BOTH THE CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AND SMSTA MEMBERSHIP WILL BE COVERED THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS.
