Dean of Career and Outreach Education (Union):

Seeking a dynamic individual for the Dean of Career and Outreach Education. The Dean is responsible for providing leadership in the areas of career and technical education, customized training, continuing education, adult education and literacy, and the economic and workforce development initiatives of the College. Candidate should have knowledge and/or experience with federal and state funding sources. The position includes responsibility for the development and supervision of off-campus instructional sites. Position reports to the President. Master’s degree in higher education, related academic field or in a discipline related to career education. Doctorate preferred. Three years of administrative experience in higher education required, community college experience preferred.

Learning Center Receptionist

Seeking a part-time receptionist to work in the Learning Center on main campus in Union. Candidates must have strong communication and customer service skills, knowledge of general office procedures and telephone techniques, familiarity with word processing, database and spreadsheet software, and an ability to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and people. Some flexibility in schedule but primary hours are M-Th 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m.

To be a student worker you must be currently enrolled in classes and have completed the FASFA prior to applying for a student worker position. How to Apply

Open positions are posted for a minimum of ten business days on the Human Resources bulletin board and on the web site. The posting will include the posting date and deadline to apply date. Human Resources and a selection committee will screen applications and select applicants for interview. Applicants will receive a letter of acknowledgement upon receipt of application. Applications and support materials will be retained for one year.

Any unsolicited resume, related document or application that does not indicate application for a specific vacant position will not be accepted, acknowledged, retained, or considered as a formal application.

All applicants must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and documentation of degrees if transcripts are not used.

All regular full-time and part-time new employees will be subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Faculty and Professional Staff new hires require Board of Trustee Approval.
