Getting your GED is not as difficult as you may think. Preparation is the key. Let us help you succeed.
Program Procedure
- Call or come to one of our sites to enroll in our free program.
- Complete assessment for individualized lesson plan.
- Talk with your instructor and complete needed preparation material and assignments.
- Complete and send in GED exam application. You must include a $20 money order made payable to 'Treasurer, State of Missouri'.
- Complete the calculator video and exercises.
- Take GED practice test.
- Complete GED demographic form.
- To reserve a seat for the test, take $20 testing fee (cash, or money order made payable to East Central College), GED authorization form (from the state), and demographic form to ECC during designated sign-up times, or sign up to take the test at another testing site..
Students who receive a score of 2800 or above on the GED test are eligible to apply for a one year scholarship to East Central College. Please contact the Financial Aid Office at (636) 584-6570 or (636) 584-6571 for more information.
