Center for Workforce Development

The Center for Workforce Development works to provide continuing and customized training to meet the ever changing needs of our community.  We strive to enhance the economic well being of the people of East Central Missouri by providing outstanding education, training and economic development services to support our local businesses and communities.

The Center for Workforce Development is made up of several functions designed to work together to support the individuals, businesses and industries and communities in the East Central College service area. Specifically, Community Education (also known as Continuing Education) offers programs, classes and camps for people of all ages looking to enhance their personal skills.

Qualified young adults and those looking for new or enhanced job opportunities can benefit from workforce development training and those individuals pursuing a high school equivalency certificate are served through our Adult Education and Literacy team.

Finally, business and industry can access training for staff (and sometimes funding for training) through Customized Training.  Click here for a listing of some of our workforce training offerings.
