Workforce Development training is short term non-credit and web-based career training
designed to quickly retrain or recertify individuals. The focus is to upgrade the
skills of unemployed or underemployed individuals and quickly return them to the workforce.
Our staff maintains a collaborative relationship with the Missouri Career Centers
to develop programming that is relevant in the communities we serve. The Center for
Workforce Development is also an ACT certified WorkKeys assessment center and can
help individuals achieve their National Career Readiness Certificate.
The Center for Workforce Development provides short term non-credit and web-based
career training. In areas such as:
- certified nurse assistant
- green technology
- professional administrative assistant

East Central receives referrals from a variety of federally funded programs which
give assistance to laid-off workers in the service area. Individual counseling to
determine career goals is provided. Training opportunities are outlined to those workers
who require retraining into a different career. For more information or to inquire
