Radiological Technology

East Central College, at the Rolla site, in partnership with the Rolla School District, offers a program of study leading to an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology. Students will learn to use state of the art equipment and ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic images in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease. Radiologic Technology is a 20 month program that is accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Education in Radiologic Technology. Graduates of the Radiologic Technology program sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, a national certification examination. Those who pass the exam may sign the initials RT(R) following their name to indicate that they are a Registered Technologist (Radiography).
