Academic GPS




Welcome to the Academic Graduation Program Summary (GPS) page! 

Whether you are just finishing your first semester, thinking about changing your major, or getting ready to graduate, you need to know where you are and what is on the road ahead!  


How to use your Academic GPS:

  1. Log in to your eCentral account with your User ID and password
  2. Click on “Students”
  3. Under “Academic Profile” click “Program Evaluation”
  4. Choose your program under “Active Programs”
  5. (Wait for the program to “reload”)


Functions of your Academic GPS:

  • Current GPA
  • Credit hours completed toward your degree
  • Credit hours remaining to complete your degree
  • Courses completed and the corresponding grades
  • Specific courses needed to complete you degree
  • Your current GPS if you changed your program of study


How to read your Academic GPS coordinates:

  • Program: Your program of study
  • Catalog: The year your program of study was chosen
  • Program Summary: An abbreviated look at what you have achieved and what remains
  • Institutional Credits: Complete at least 15 of the last 30 semester hours of college level credit at East Central College
  • Overall Credits: The credit hours completed and the credit hours remaining
  • Overall GPA: Achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on all college level credit earned. This requirement may vary depending on the program of study.
