Student Worker Positions

To be a student worker you must be currently enrolled in classes and have completed the FAFSA prior to applying for a student worker position. For more information regarding FAFSA, student worker requirements and enrollment guidelines, please visit the Financial Aid Office in Buescher Hall or call (636) 584-6588.

Minimum hourly pay $7.35; Flexible hours not to exceed 19.75 hours per week.

Industrial Engineering Technology (IET) Assistant:

 

The IET Department located at ECC Washington is seeking a department assistant for the spring 2013 semester. Responsibilities include updating computer software, maintaining and repairing lab equipment, assisting in the development of new labs for students in PLCs and motor controls courses and cleaning/organizing the lab. Hours are flexible, approximately 10 hours per week. Must have strong computer skills with MS Windows knowledge and have completed PLC and/or Motor Controls course work.

Accounting Tutor:

 

The Learning Center is seeking students to fill the following tutor positions in Accounting. To be a tutor in the Learning Center, a student must have completed the course for which they wish to tutor with a grade of A or B, have an overall GPA of 3.0, and receive faculty recommendation letters. The recommendation letters must contain information about the applicant’s academic ability, responsibility, professionalism and communication skills. Primary duties of a tutor are providing tutorial assistance to students who are seeking help outside the classroom, one-on-one supplemental instruction and/or assist students with questions or problems resulting from homework or various assignments, and more.

Office Assistant - ECC Rolla:

 

ECC Rolla is seeking a student worker for ECC Rolla to scan and link documents within Image Now, assist with answering phones, filing, preparing orientation folders, assist with various projects in the office.  Applicants must be organized, pay attention to detail, and have general office/clerical skills.
