Student Activities

Phi Theta Kappa - ECC Rolla

ECC Rolla is also home to a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society of the Two-Year College. Phi Theta Kappa members organize service projects for the local community as well as participate in regional and national activities. Membership in Phi Theta Kappa is based on GPA and offered by invitation.  We pursue activities that fall under the direction of the society's hallmarks of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship.

S-MSTA (Student Missouri State Teachers Association) - ECC Rolla
S-MSTA is a pre-service organization for future teachers. The group works to create a community within the  education majors. They work with MSTA on current trends and issues which affect the role and welfare of teachers in a democracy.

 

Student Government Association - ECC Rolla
SGA endeavors to represent the student body in all facets of college life and promote a close relationship with the administration, faculty, and student body for the general welfare of the college.

 

ECC Rolla has a local Student Government Association with officers who help to coordinate various activities and community service events. The Rolla SGA organizes a blood drive each semester, a Student Appreciation Day, and several other activities.

Student Nurse Association – ECC Rolla
This organization promotes teamwork and leadership skills among student nurses while working to promote health in the community.
