Located in the Rolla Technical Center, East Central College- Rolla offers a wide range of transfer, career-technical, and health care degree programs designed to meet the needs of the Rolla community.

Courses leading to the
Associate of Arts, Associate of Science and Associate of Applied
Science degrees are available at East Central College-Rolla. Programs
that may be completed on the Rolla campus include Business
Administration, Education and General Studies. In addition, East
Central College has entered into a large number of articulation
agreements with the Missouri University of Science and Technology and other
institutions that allow East Central College graduates to smoothly
transfer into baccalaureate programs. Those agreements include
programs in Engineering as well as Education and other fields. An
East Central College Advisor can provide more detailed information
regarding transfer opportunities.
Pre-licensure Nursing Program (more information)
ECC offers a pre-licensure Associate of Applied Science degree in nursing
for those interested in becoming an RN. Students must meet specific admission
criteria. Sixteen students are selected and admitted each Fall semester.
1+1 Nursing Program [ More Information ]
A 1+1 bridge program designed to allow Licensed Practical Nurses the opportunity
to obtain an Associate Degree in Nursing and meet eligibility requirements for the
NCLEX-RN Examination at Rolla. Twenty-one students are admitted each January.
Specific admissions requirements must be met prior to acceptance into the program.
All ECC nursing programs are approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. Respiratory Therapy

Offered through a
cooperative effort of East Central College-Rolla and the Rolla
Technical Center, the Respiratory Care Associate of Applied Science
Degree is nationally accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of
Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP) and by the North Central Association
of Colleges and Schools. The program is being reviewed to include
the Advanced Registry level certification. Applicants to the
Respiratory Therapy program must meet the general educational
requirements indicated in the East Central College Degree Plan
worksheet
as well as admission criteria established by the Rolla Technical
Center. The application deadline is April 1 for classes beginning in

Students enrolling at
East Central College-Rolla have access to a wide range of student
services and assistance. Academic advisors from Education and
Nursing have regular hours at Rolla.

regularly scheduled times.

For students needing special assistance, the ACCESS counselor is
available to assist in developing appropriate accommodations. Tutors
in Mathematics, Biology and English are available to assist you in
meeting your educational goals. The staff of East Central College-
Rolla is dedicated to providing you the support necessary to succeed.
Many varied activities focusing on community service and experiential learning are available to students attending ECC-Rolla. The Rolla campus has a local Student Government Association with officers who help to coordinate various activities and community service events. The Rolla SGA organizes a blood drive each semester, a Student Appreciation Day and several other activities. Any ECC-Rolla student interested in participating in SGA activities should contact Tracy Rusco at tlrusco@eastcentral.edu.
The Rolla campus is also home to a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society of the Two-Year College. Phi Theta Kappa members organize service projects for the local community as well as participating in regional and national activities.
