On April 25, 2013, Vendini, Inc. (East Central College’s online ticketing system provider) detected an unauthorized intrusion into its systems. Vendini provides box-office and online ticketing services to ECC and hundreds of entertainment venues, which include tour, casino, sports, and arts organizations across the U.S. and Canada.
"Based on their records, customers who used a credit card to make a purchase that was processed through Vendini’s service may have had their information compromised in this incident," stated Phil Pena, vice president of finance and administration at ECC. "At this time no fraud claims have been made, and the college is notifying individuals who made a purchase with a credit card about this situation."

The East Central College Foundation was established to support the growth and development of East Central College in whatever ways might be beneficial to our students, our staff and our facility. It solicits and receives tax deductible gifts which are managed for the benefit of the college and its students. It is chartered as a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization for educational purposes.
East Central College is the only institution of higher education based in Franklin County, serving more than 6,000 students annually. It is the institution that educates the workforce in our area creating a positive impact in our community. Please join us in our mission to change lives through education. We give our students a bright future that they, in turn, can invest back into our communities, our companies and our lives.
Every dollar committed to the ECC Foundation helps strengthen our communities for all of us and enhances the lives of our students forever. It is an economic and a human investment.
The gift of an education is the gift that lasts a lifetime.
The
ECC Foundation Board of Directors is composed of individuals from local businesses, professions and community services.
Meetings are held quarterly to conduct business and review programs. Directors take
an active role in fundraising and membership activities, finance and investment planning
and supervision of planned gifts and endowments.
The Foundation encourages charitable giving by the private sector. The primary focus
has been to raise scholarship dollars to provide financial assistance to the many
talented students in the ECC college district. Gifts in support of that effort are
encouraged by individuals and area businesses. Should you want to make a contribution,
endow a scholarship, attend any of the Foundation events or have any questions, please
contact the Foundation office.
