Admissions Events

Throughout the year the ECC Admissions staff offers a variety of events to assist potential new students.

FAFSA Nights

As a community service, ECC assists students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Workshops will be at ECC in Union on Thursday nights:

February 19 and 26 and March 5, 12 and 19.

Staff will be available from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to assist families.

Sessions will be held in Buescher Hall, Room 182.

The sessions are open to the public, regardless of what college the student plans to attend.  Parents are strongly encouraged to attend, even if the student cannot.

College 101

Prospective students and their families are invited to attend a College 101 session to learn about ECC programs, the admissions process, financial aid (including the A+ program benefits and scholarships), plus student support services.

 You're Admitted…What's Your Next Step?

Individuals who have been admitted to East Central College are encouraged to attend a session outlining what's involved in the transition to college.  Hosted by ECC's Admissions staff, sessions are usually held in April of each year.   Family members are encouraged to attend with the new student.
