Campus Life

At East Central, you will feel at home. Daily life on our campus is much different from what you would expect at a large university. We have clubs and organizations for everyone, small classes, a staff to provide individual attention, and faculty who will answer your questions. Our district covers parts of six counties, so your fellow students come from a wide range of backgrounds. You will meet up with old friends, and certainly find some new ones.

This is a place where you can have an impact, through involvement in extracurricular activities such as student government or Phi Theta Kappa, the honors organization for community colleges. Our student organizations offer variety and fun. Members plan special events such as dances, lectures, shows, fundraisers, and cultural activities.

Athletics allow our varsity athletes to compete in the Midwest Community College Athletic Conference. ECC fields teams in men's soccer and women's softball.

If you're not a varsity athlete, try our intramural sports or other recreational activities.
