Tickets are now on sale for Proof, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by David Auburn, that will be presented at East Central College November 15-18.

Proof follows the story of Catherine, a troubled young woman who has spent years caring for her brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician. Now, following his death, she must deal with her own volatile emotions; the arrival of her estranged sister, Claire; and the attentions of Hal, a former student of her father's who hopes to find valuable work in the 103 notebooks that her father left behind.

Over the long weekend that follows, a burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook draw Catherine into the most difficult problem of all: How much of her father's madness-or genius-will she inherit?

The cast features John Anglin as Robert, Kaitlin Smith as Claire, Maria Struttmann as Catherine and Daniel Thompson as Hal. Directed by Vince Niehaus, Proof will be performed Thursday through Saturday, November 15-17 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 18 at 2 p.m.

Tickets can be reserved or purchased online.  They can also be reserved by calling the Box Office at 636-584-6693.
