Beginning German I
An introductory German course stressing basic language skills: listening, comprehension, speaking, reading and composition. Additional audio-lingual laboratory practice. HOT, GLB, HFA

German Lang & Culture I
Beginnings of German grammar. The students will participate in 3 hours of ITV instruction and 1 hour of web-based learning activities. GLB, HOT, HFA

Elementary German I

A continuation of GR 1103. HOT, GLB, HFA
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of "C" in GR 1103.

GR 1204 4.0
Elem German II
A continuation of GR 1104. GLB, HOT,HFA
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of "C" in GR 1104 or 2 years high school German.

GR 2113 3.0
Interm German I
An intermediate course in German stressing language skills. Review of grammar and additional vocabulary will strengthen the knowledge of German. It will be an introduction to literature, art, music, history, and culture. GLB, HOT, HFA
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of "C" in GR 1203 or 4 years of high school German.

GR 2114 4.0
Interm German I
An intermediate course in German stressing language skills. Review of grammar and additional vocabulary will strengthen the knowledge of German. It will be an introduction to literature, art, music, history, and culture. GLB, HOT, HFA
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of "C" in GR 1204, or 4 years of high school German.

GR 2124 4.0
Interm German II
A course designed to continue the student of the German language and culture at the intermediate level. It encourages the understanding of both differences and similarities among cultures and reinforces all four skills of language learning: comprehension, writing, speaking, and reading. GLB, HOT, HFA
Prerequisites: Minimum grade of "C" in GR 2114 or 4 years of high school German.

GR 2701-2705 1.0-5.0
I.S.-German
A specialized program of study directly related to the department's area of expertise. The course is arranged between a faculty member and student and takes into consideration the needs, interests and background of the student.
Prerequisite: Consent ot instructor

GR 2711-2715 1.0-5.0
Spec Topics-German
A specialized program of study directly related to the department's area of expertise. The course is arranged between a faculty member and student and takes into consideration the needs, interests and background of the student.
