Some cookie decorating techniques are basic while others may take a little more effort. Our wonderful instructor Linda, will guide you in creating cookies that are too beautiful to eat! (If there is such a thing!)Students should bring their own cookies to decorate.

I don't know about you but to me there is nothing like good homemade soup when you need comfort. Visions of a big pot of soup bubbling on the stove with yummy aroma drifting over head sends me running for some crackers or nice crusty rolls. This 2 night course will feature Chef Sue making "red" based soups one night and another night of "white" based soups. Each night will feature 3 soups out of the same based only with different thicknesses, seasonings and additions. Chef Sue has been teaching cooking and baking to the public for years. She is well known for her Cooking with Herbs classes and How to grow herbs.

This program is designed to prepare individuals to care for clients in long-term care facilities, hospitals, and home health agencies. The course will consist of 75 hours classroom training and 100 hours of supervised clinical training. Upon completion of both components, the student will be eligible to take the final exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Students must be 18 years of age at the start of the program. Apply early to reserve a spot. Class size is limited to 15 students.
