A class for those wanting to know more! This class is the continuation to Introduction to Computers for Seniors. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how easy it is to use a personal computer. Students will revisit and delve deeper into some familiar topics as well as explore new components. This class will emphasize hands on exercises designed to make participants more comfortable with using the computer. Prerequisite: Introduction to Computers for Seniors. Price includes textbook. Taught by Tom Bennett. FEES DUE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION.

Class members will be able to find sites regarding genealogy, recreation, hobbies, news, finances, vacations, and much more. They will also learn how to bookmark sites, as well as how to download and extract information. Prerequisite: Intermediate Computers for Seniors Taught by Tom Bennett. FEES DUE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION.

In this class instructor Tom Bennett will show students how to re-size and email photos from a digital camera using Microsoft Photo Editor and Fotosizer. Students will discover how easy it is to create free online classified ads with photos, such as Craig?s List, RollaNet, and PayPal. Participants will also learn how to use free online photo-hosting websites and slide shows using Picture Trail and Windows SkyDrive. Prerequisite: Internet for Seniors. Communication is one of the most important factors in any organization or relationship. This course discusses the many different ways to communicate and how to select the most effective method of communication at all business levels including departments, staff, and clients. In addition, the course will review how to maintain professionalism and easily deal with different personality types in order to building strong business relationships. Session I: Methods and Concepts; Ways to communicate; Professionalism in communication; Effective ways to interact with co-workers, boss, customers, professional (CPA, attorney); Practice applications. Session II: Case Studies, Scenarios and Activities; Dealing with difficult boss/co-worker and change; Assessing and anticipating needs; Efficiency; What is a team and how to develop a team environment; Case studies. Taught by Robin Bellis.
