| Blast to the top of the class with an in depth look at all things ROCKET! This action packed 3-day camp will focus on the physics of rocket flight, the parts of a rocket and rocket launches. You will experience every aspect of rocket launching as you construct a different rocket each day: paper rocket (lots of them), water rockets (yes, you will get wet) and a real scaled down version of a NASA rocket that you take home. We will even use the NASA Rockets to launch some of our paper airplanes. Each day includes a ?50 years of NASA Space Exploration? video presentation prior to rocket construction. As a coach and official, he received a Distinguished Service Award from the Missouri State High School Activities Association for his dedication to young athletes. His goal at this camp is to develop baseball skills: hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, position work, and a greater appreciation for the game of baseball. Participants will be part of an investigative team that will develop the vital evidence they find at a crime scene. They will learn how to collect that evidence, map the crime scene, and conduct a number of experiments on the evidence they discover. The team will then use their findings to solve the case and present it to a jury in a mock trial.
