In this fun photography class, campers will learn the basic functions of a digital camera and how to use the different modes based on the subject and the light conditions. We will touch upon basic composition rules, finding a vantage point of view, selecting a good background for your subject and shooting from different perspectives. Tuesday, we will go on a photo walk to practice what we have learned. We will photograph a little bit of everything: people, "things", and places. Last, but not least, we will go back to the classroom and review the images we took, identifying things that make them good and the areas that can be improved. Photography is all about experimenting, and the goal of this class will be to point the participants in the right direction. Campers will need to bring digital cameras and the camera's USB cable. Ages 8 to 12
