Transfer policies posted apply only to how courses transfer into East Central College. For questions about how East Central College courses transfer to other institutions, please contact that institution directly.
All information in these transfer guides is subject to change, and East Central College reserves the right to make changes in transfer guides at any time. For more information regarding course transfer among public Missouri institutions, please see the Missouri Core 42 Curriculum Transfer Guide.
Courses not listed in these guides will be evaluated for course equivalency at the time of transfer. If East Central College does not offer an equivalent course, it will transfer as elective credit. These guides are not comprehensive.
Courses that transfer in as general education electives may fulfill a general education requirement. Students transferring in possible program electives need to meet with an advisor to verify that the course meets program requirements. Nursing students should verify science electives with Allied Health.
Due to the recent changes with the Missouri Department of Higher Education course transfer library, not all mathematics courses from private institutions have been evaluated at this time. ECC students on the 2018 Core 42 Associate of Arts general education plan will need to provide a course syllabus if they plan to transfer College Algebra from a Missouri non-public institution. Please submit the course syllabus to your advisor or the Registrar’s Office and it will be reviewed within 5 business days.
