Student Vaccination Incentive Program

A vax t-shirt and FREE DRINK PACKAGE with proof of vaccination!

East Central College (ECC) is participating in the COVID-19 College Vaccine Challenge.  We hope to provide opportunities for all campus community members to become vaccinated.

Specifically we are offering current ECC students the opportunity to win prizes – including St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues tickets, bookstore gift cards, Café packages, activity packages, ear buds, an iPad and even a free year of college tuition, fees and books!

Get Vaccinated

Union Campus:

Vaccinations will be available in the Campus Learning Center on:

  • August 18 – 1–4 p.m.
  • August 31 – 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
  • September 1 – Noon–4 p.m.
  • September 29 – Noon–4 p.m.


Rolla Campus:

Vaccinations will be available at Sinks Pharmacy on:

Qualify for Prizes

Beginning July 26 through October 7, ECC will be collecting proof of vaccination from students.  Student can submit a copy of your COVID-19 vaccination card by:

  • Bring a printed copy to Student Services desk or the Rolla Main front desk
  • Upload documents on CANVAS Course

After verification is submitted students will receive a confirmation, and directions on how to pick up their t-shirt and drink package.

Campus Services Gift Cards

All students current or incoming students who submit proof of vaccination prior to September 30th will receive.

  • Unlimited Drink Keychain for Campus Café (Union)
  • Contigo Cup with Punch Card (Rolla)

Any student who submits their proof prior to September 24, will also be entered to win one of the following:

  • (20) $50 Book Store Gift Card
  • (10) $75 Book Store Gift Card
  • (2) $100 Book Store Gift Card

Every Friday from July 30 – October 1, ECC will draw names of 2 students for a $50 Bookstore GC, 1 student for a $75 Bookstore GC, and on the last Friday 2 additional students for the $100 Bookstore GC


Mid-Level prizes drawings – October 1

Eight students will win one of the following prizes.  Every student who has submitted their proof of vaccination will be entered for one of the mid-level prizes, even if they’ve won a weekly prize.

  • ECC Patrons of the Arts package (Value $250)
  • 4 Six Flags Season Passes (Value $350)
  • 4 Cardinals tickets (Value $300-$600)
  • 4 Blues tickets (Value $300-$600)
  • Cell Phone (Value $300-$600)
  • Laptop / IPAD (Value $300-$600)
  • Apple Air Pods (Value $150-$170)
  • Halo Charger (Valued at $100)

(*first student selected will pick their preferred prize, and then 2nd will pick their preference, through the rest of the students)


Grand prize drawing – October 8

ECC will draw the names of 6 students who will receive one of the grand prizes. Every student who has submitted their proof of vaccination will be entered for one of the grand prizes, even if they’ve won a prior weekly or mid-level prize.

Grand prizes include the following: one winner per prize

  • Gas Card ($1000 value) (One Rolla / One Union)
  • One-Year Meal Pass ($1000 value) (One Rolla / One Union)
  • Textbook Costs for 2 semesters ($1,000 value)
  • Tuition, Fees, and Book Costs for 2 semesters



  • Students must have received at least one dose of the vaccine by the close of business on the day prior to the drawing.
  • Students must be enrolled for at least one course for the fall 2021 semester on the close of business on the day prior to the drawing. For grand prizes, students must still be enrolled for at least one course on Sept. 27, 2021.
  • AEL and CNA/CMT students must be registered in their classes/program after July 1, 2021.
  • Students awarded a weekly prize are not eligible for additional weekly prizes.
  • Students awarded a grand prize are not eligible for additional grand prizes.
  • Students taking dual credit courses only are not eligible.
  • Students who are also full-time employees of East Central College are not eligible.



  • Prizes valued at $600 or more are taxable.
  • Some prizes may affect a student’s financial aid package.
  • Prizes are not transferable.
  • Students who accept a prize agree to allow their name and/or likeness to be used to publicly announce their prize status.
  • Prizes may be subject to certain date restrictions.
