Research and Professional Interests

  • My research and professional interests include carbon dioxide capture, reaction kinetics, mesoporous materials, artificial intelligence, and higher education. My doctoral research focused on the kinetics and mechanisms of CO₂ capture and the development of mesoporous materials for gas capture applications. I am also interested in the development and responsible use of artificial intelligence in science and education, and I have worked on projects involving the training and evaluation of AI systems on chemistry-related tasks, including contributing to the Humanity’s Last Exam (HLE) benchmark, . More broadly, my professional interests include autism in academia, particularly the experiences of autistic faculty and researchers and the ways academic institutions can better support neurodivergent academics.
