The Assessment Institute in Indianapolis is the oldest and largest U.S. event focused on assessing and improving higher education. Join us for the 2026 Institute, which will be held Sunday, October 18, 2026, through Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown.

  • Register Today: Take advantage of Early Discounted Registration through Wednesday, July 15, 2026, after which regular registration rates apply. Be sure to book hotel accommodations in Indianapolis soon, as our room block sells out in advance of the Institute.
  • Pre-Institute Workshops: Add one or more of our 19 Pre-Institute Workshops to your registration. Held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, these reasonably priced, diverse, and engaging offerings provide opportunities for in-depth learning, practical experience, networking, and access to thought leaders. Plan to arrive in Indy on Saturday to take advantage of these Sunday Workshops.
  • Keynote Presenters: See the roster of Featured Speakers at the 2026 Assessment Institute. Full program details, including concurrent, Rise-and-Shine, and poster session information, will be shared this summer.
