Emergency Closure Policies
If the Testing Center should close due to emergency such as power outage or inclement weather, the following procedures will take place per exam policy:
Pearson Vue
Testing Center staff will file an incident report with Pearson Vue notifying them of the closure. Affected candidates will be contacted by Pearson Vue via email with instructions for rescheduling. Candidates SHOULD NOT attempt to cancel or reschedule their exam independently of this process if it is within 24 hrs of their appointment.
Praxis (ETS)
Testing Center staff will contact the Help Desk to notify them of the closure. Their closure team will contact all affected candidates for rescheduling.
ParaPro (ETS)
Any scheduled candidates will be contacted by testing center staff using the email provided from the registration form with instructions for rescheduling.
HiSET
Testing Center staff will create an incident report of the emergency closure. PSI/HiSET will contact affected candidates for the rescheduling process.
Meazure Learning
Testing Center staff will contact Meazure Learning by email as soon as possible to notify them of the closure. Meazure Learning will contact scheduled candidates and assist with rescheduling.
PROV
Testing Center staff will contact the Test Administration Team at PROV by email notifying them of the closure. Prov will contact candidates to reschedule.
TABE
Jessica Horn, Adult Education Literacy Volunteer & Orientation Specialist, will contact scheduled candidates to reschedule appointments.
CLEP Exams, Nursing Exams, and Proctored Exams for Other Institutions (including Accuplacer)
All affected candidates will be contacted by testing center staff by email or phone with instructions for rescheduling.
