  • Missouri Higher Education Academic Program (Bright Flight) “Bright Flight” provides scholarship awards in the amount of up to $3,000 per year to students who have achieved a composite score on the American College Testing Program (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) in the top three (3) percent of all Missouri students taking those tests. The student must be enrolled full-time in a Missouri college or university.
  • Missouri Returning Heroes’ Education Act
  • Access Missouri Financial Assistance Program This grant is for all Missouri students who meet the application deadlines and have an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) of $12,000 or less. Students must be enrolled full-time and maintaining satisfactory academic progress.  The amount varies by year based upon the state budgets.
  • Public Service Officer or Employee’s Child Survivor Grant Program This program provides tuition grants to public safety officers or Missouri Department of Transportation employees engaged in the construction or maintenance of the state’s highways, roads and bridges who were permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty. The grant is also available to their children and spouses, as well as the children and spouses who survive such employees who were killed in the line of duty.
  • Vietnam Veteran Survivor Grant Program This grant is available to children and spouses of Vietnam veterans whose death was attributed to or caused by exposure to toxic chemicals during the Vietnam conflict.
  • A+ Schools Program  Students qualify for this program while in high school attending an A+ eligible institution.

  • Marguerite Ross Barnett Memorial Scholarship Provides tuition assistance to students who are enrolled 6-11 credits. To be considered for this award you must be employed and compensated for at least 20 per week. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
