East Central College Nursing Program Students have teamed up with BJC Children’s Hospital of St. Louis to help bring a smile to some of those who need it most.

What to Donate

Wish List Top 10:

  1. Infant/toddler toys — music/light-up toys, teethers, rattles, crib mobiles
  2. Gifts for teenagers — brain games/3D puzzles/Rubik’s Cubes, Legos, nail art sets, craft sets such as jewelry kitting/fiber arts/fimo clay/hooked rugs/embroidery, coloring books and colored markers/pencils, etc.
  3. Stuffed animals — only with fabric eyes. Not hard plastic eyes
  4. Blankets —Must be laundered prior to donating
  5. Toys for girls — Small figurines, LOL Surprise, Hatchimals, etc.
  6. Washable markers and colored pencils
  7. Small bottles of bright and colorful acrylic paint
  8. Lego sets
  9. Canvases, sketchpads, drawing paper and coloring books (especially for teens)
  10. Action figures for girls and boys

Where to Donate:

There will be two donation boxes at East Central Collage’s Union campus located at 1964 Prairie Dell Road

A donation box is in the Health and Science Building on the main floor in the Allied Health Office, Room 105.

  • Items can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A second donation Box will be located check out desk at the library located on the first floor of Buescher Hall.

  • Items can be dropped off from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; and 7:30 a.m. on Fridays. 

 

Please Note

  • All items must be new with tags or in original packaging.
  • All blankets, whether handmade or purchased MUST be laundered prior to donation
