Mid-Missouri Fine Arts Society, an organization of local artists, annually presents their artworks at ECC. The Mid-Missouri Fine Arts Society began in 1974 to promote and contribute to the interest in fine arts. Members of this local organization are active artists and art enthusiasts and work in a variety of media, including pastels, graphite, watercolor, oil paint, photography, and ceramics.

This workshop will be a collaborative and interactive group endeavor where there will be imparting of child development theories, identifying parenting styles, and discussing
consequences and punishments to modify and/or correct a child’s behaviors. The Psychology and Sociology Department’s faculty will be the presenters and facilitators of this workshop.  Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with one another and at the same time gain insight into one of the most difficult jobs in our society today: parenting.
