Pickarski has created a series of landscape photographs that offer a glimpse of the most remote corners of the world, while also addressing the climate crisis in unique ways. These natural and sometimes fabricated fantasy-like settings invoke the beauty and drama of fairy tales when long-ago giants and elves walked the earth.

A beloved staple of the East Central Concert Series, we are thrilled to welcome back St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO) concertmaster David Halen and acclaimed SLSO  cellist Bjorn Ranheim with pianist Jennifer Judd. The trio will perform works by Mozart and Mendelssohn.
