Depart from East Central College: 6 PM

Showtime: 7:30 PM

Campus Life and Leadership and the ECC Foundation are excited to announce a trip to see the award-winning musical “Come From Away” at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis. The show will begin at 7:30 PM, and we will depart from East Central College at 6 PM via Mid-American Coach. Concessions will be available at the Fox Theatre but will not be covered by East Central College.

Student tickets will be FREE, and employee tickets will be available at a reduced price of $20. Tickets are very limited and there will be a limit of one ticket per person. To reserve your ticket, contact Carson.Mowery@eastcentral.edu. You MUST know that you can attend upon reserving your ticket due to limited quantities.

Students and employees at the Rolla location are encouraged to attend. Transportation to and from Main Campus will be arranged.

This musical is “based on the events in the Newfoundland town of Gander during the week following the September 11 attacks, when 38 planes, carrying approximately 7,000 passengers, were ordered to land unexpectedly at Gander International Airport. The characters in the musical are based on (and in most cases share the names of) actual Gander residents and stranded travelers they housed and fed. The musical has been received by audiences and critics as a cathartic reminder of the capacity for human kindness in even the darkest of times and the triumph of humanity over hate” (Wikipedia). You can read more about the show here.

For questions, contact Carson Mowery at 636-584-6583 or Carson.Mowery@eastcentral.edu.
