This Speaker Forum will provide a definition of mental health and present community resources to help families and individuals manage, treat, and improve mental health. The impact of Covid-19 on the mental health of individuals of all ages, the rise in suicide attempts, and various institutions demanding more awareness of the warning signs
to assist suicide prevention have made a direct impact on our perception of mental health and mental illness in our society. The Speaker Forum will feature local mental health agencies and local mental health professionals addressing these contemporary issues and providing a toolkit to help us intervene with our loved ones who are struggling with mental health.
