Crochet for Beginners (Fall 2024)

Crochet has been around for centuries and is still one of the most popular yarn crafts today. It is a method of creating a looped fabric from yarn with a crochet hook.  Crochet is a fun, relaxing hobby that anyone can do! In this class students will learn the basics of crochet which include learning the 6 basic crochet stitches; chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, how to make a magic circle and how to read a crochet pattern.  It’s not difficult to learn how to crochet, but it can be a little tricky in the beginning.
