This comprehensive two-day training course is designed to provide managers with a fundamental understanding of key employment laws and regulations that impact the workplace. Managers will gain essential knowledge about a variety of important topics including at-will employment, anti-discrimination laws, workplace safety, employee benefits, and privacy laws. Through an exploration of laws such as Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and many others, participants will learn how these regulations affect day-to-day management decisions and practices. The course aims to equip managers with the skills to recognize and prevent legal issues, handle compliance confidently, and create a fair, safe, and compliant workplace environment. By the end of the training, managers will be better prepared to navigate the complexities of employment law and reduce the risk of legal challenges in their organizations.
