Stick/TIG Welding

In this Stick Welding (SMAW) course participants will learn welding safety, SMAW processes, equipment setup and proper welding techniques. GTAW, commonly known as TIG welding, is an extremely versatile process for joining metal. This class is designed for beginners and those who want to take their skills to the next level. Upon completion, students will be familiar with safety, equipment, equipment set up and proper welding techniques.

Gain the skills needed for today’s workplace.

Beekeeping for Beginners

For the love of BEES! There is always a lot to learn, whether you are thinking about starting the adventure of beekeeping or are a few years in, this class is for you. This class will have at least 4 speakers from Franklin county and areas nearby. Together they have at least 80 years of total beekeeping experience. They will discuss getting to know bees, equipment needed and site set-up, where to purchase bees and supplies, hive inspections, pest control, how site selection will change your honey production and the taste of the honey, and honey extraction and other product possibilities. There will be catalogs from equipment companies, a local store, some door prizes and give-a-ways. Bring a notebook.
