3rd Annual East Central College Manufacturing Summit
Date: October 1, 2025
The 3rd Annual East Central College Manufacturing Summit will bring together industry leaders, educators, and workforce professionals to explore emerging trends and challenges in manufacturing.
This year’s program features:
- Guest Speaker: Nick Akers, INZO Technologies – presenting on the critical importance of cybersecurity in manufacturing.
- Featured Speaker: Charles Gascon, Economist and Research Officer, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis – delivering “U.S. and Regional Outlook: An Update on Current Economic Conditions.” Gascon analyzes national and Eighth Federal Reserve District trends, reports on regional conditions to the Bank’s leadership prior to Federal Open Market Committee meetings, and contributes to the Bank’s Beige Book and other publications.
The summit will also include panel updates on East Central College Career & Technical programs, the Center for Workforce Development Apprenticeship programs, and key workforce partners including Ameren, DED Missouri One Start, WIOA, and the Washington Job Center.
