East Central College’s Music Department will be kicking off their concert series with a free, outdoor music festival.  Bands in order of performance will be:   Woodshine, Pamwe marimba band, and Funky Butt Brass Band.

All proceeds from the festival will go towards manufacturing scholarships.

Beth Livensperger creates an installation of work on paper, tailored specifically to ECC’s Art Gallery space.  This body of work grew out of her  experiences with strong female colleagues: mentors, competitors, friends, and advocates. The large-scale collages depict women navigating the banal, yet psychologically charged, space of office interiors.

The members of the Arianna String Quartet serve on the faculty at the University of Missouri-St. Louis as professors of violin, viola, and cello. The  ASQ also presents an interdisciplinary performance and lecture series “First Mondays with the ASQ,” at KWMU, St. Louis Public Radio. Pianist  Jennifer Judd will join ASQ performing Dvorak’s Piano Quintet in A Major.
