Business Pathway

The Associate of Arts Business Pathway is designed for students who plan to transfer to earn a bachelor’s degree. This pathway is a minimum of 60 college-level credit hours with (18) credit hours dedicated to accounting, business, and computer information systems courses. With the help of an advisor students will select appropriate accounting, business, and computer information systems courses preparing them for future advanced level courses while allowing an exploration of career interest areas. This pathway introduces the student to the many skills required to get noticed by today’s business leaders. Critical thinking, communication skills, and a strong understanding in business ethics is a great foundation on which to start your future.

ECC also offers an Associate of Applied Science in Business, an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting, and certificates in both Business and Accounting. The AAS provides professional courses in management, marketing, accounting, finance, communications, business law, and computer science and are combined with a core of general education courses to ensure that students receive a well-rounded curriculum. The certificates focus on targeted courses in business or accounting and are designed for students intending to enter the job market immediately after graduation.
