American Sign Language 1

Have you heard of individuals who use sign language to communicate and wish to learn more? This course will teach the basics: the alphabet, numbers, beginning signs and conversational phrases. Hand shape, placement, and movement will be emphasized. Facial expression & body movement will be introduced.

This course is designed to provide tools and experience to engage conversations using sign language. Intro to Deaf Culture is highly recommended.
