The Basic Hydraulics class is a combination of lecture and hands-on learning.  Participants will participate in short lectures introducing the basic concepts of fluid power, and hydraulic fundamentals.  The majority of the course will be utilizing the basic hydraulics hands-on learning system along with a multimedia (computer based) curriculum.  Topics, depending on time availability, will include:  Hydraulic Power Systems, Basic Hydraulic Circuits, Principles of Hydraulic Pressure and Flow, Hydraulic Speed Control, and Pressure Control Circuits.  Participants may also complete a locating information exercise on reading fluid power schematic symbols.  The schematic symbol reading exercise may also be included in the Basic Pneumatics class.
