Picture Yourself As A Nurse – CLASS IS FULL

This summer is the time to explore the field of nursing and our nursing camp is a great way to get started! Learn the qualities of a nurse, basic nursing skills, first aid, CPR training, and much more! Learn these skills from Professional Registered Nurses.   Ages 8-16.

Register at least one week prior to the start of class to avoid class cancellations. Class size is limited.

Picture Yourself As a Radiologic Technologist

Join us as we dive into the wonderful world of Medical Imaging.  Learn more about the role Radiologic Technologists play in the field of healthcare.  We will cover topics such as qualities of technologists, required skills, surgery and mobile radiography, trauma imaging, modality advancement, and much more.  There will also be time to look at unique radiographic images!  Learn these skills from registered Radiologic Technologists with many years of experience in the field. Ages 14-18.

Abra-Kid-Abra Magic for Children – CLASS IS FULL

Magic to Amaze Family, Friends & Pets! Poke a hole in your shirt, then instantly restore it! Vanish a card right out of someone’s hands! Divine which envelope holds the money! Abra-Kid-Abra’s brand new class will teach magic your child can perform in the cafeteria, at the dinner table, or when out with family or friends! Your child will be the life of the party! In addition to the nightly show you’re likely to enjoy, students will star in a family show the last day. Goals are to develop presentation skills, build confidence, and have fun! Ages 5-12.

Basics of Cheerleading Camp

Cheer camp is designed for boys and girls ages 6-10 to learn a few basics. The class will cover motions, jumps, tumbling, and stunting. Participants will learn a new cheer each day that they can perform for family members. Safety for tumbling and stunting will also be taught as well as technique on jumps and motions!

Computer Animation 2 – CLASS IS FULL

Students will use freeware to do stop-motion animation using clay, paper, props, and sound. Students should bring a bag of props that they want to use to create the animated movie, such as action figures, cars, clay, Legos or whatever their imagination can think of. Ages 9-18.

STEM Academy Junior – CLASS IS FULL

Do you want to know more about science, technology, engineering, and math? In this class you will play games, do experiments, and visit a college science laboratory space. There are many interesting things to learn inside and outside the classroom. This class will be taught primarily by older SLA students. Ages 6-8.

*Students must wear fully-enclosed shoes (NO sandals or clogs)
