Summer Bridges
Summer Bridge courses are free, non-credit, week-long, or arranged courses offered to students whose placement test scores indicate they need additional preparation before taking college-level classes.
The Summer Bridge courses combine diagnostic assessment, directed curriculum, and retesting. Students who complete these courses potentially move more quickly into college-level classes and use less financial aid and/or out-of-pocket money.
Regardless of placement, Summer Bridges will enable students to learn to navigate ECC’s online Learning Management System (Canvas) and gain the foundational knowledge needed to succeed in any course they take.
Bridges are offered in arranged and scheduled formats and in online, in-person, and hybrid modalities.
Summer Bridges are scheduled through Admissions.
