Teen Deputy Summer Academy
Are you interested in learning more about a career in law enforcement? Join the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department in a week long program to explore the skills necessary to become a deputy sheriff and what you can expect to learn in a law enforcement training program. Topics covered include constitutional law, traffic regulations, ethics, SWAT, K9 and so much more! Ages 14-18 (high school).
After you register for the class, you will be sent an application. All applications must be completed and returned by July 1, 2025. Submit the application to LETC@eastcentral.edu or in person at East Central College, 2303 North Bishop, Rolla, MO 65401.
