The Introduction to MIG Welding program provides an introduction to the Gas Metal Arc Welding process, also known as MIG Welding. Through hands-on applications, students will reinforce lessons and learn to apply practical knowledge. Welding is a high demand field with a large number of manufacturers in the area.
Successful students will complete a OSHA10 Certification and a Certificate of Completion in Introductory MIG Welding.

Program cost is $995 ($95 is non-refundable). Cost includes welding jacket, helmet/face guard, gloves and textbook. Students are required to wear ankle-high leather or steel-toed boots.
The short-term program is offered at ECC’s Business and Industry Center.
