International Patterns

Students will learn about the many patterns used in Islamic, Asian, and Celtic decorative art. They will design their own projects. They will learn about history and cultures, Mathematics of symmetry, pattern-making, 2-D design fundamentals, use of color, and decorative media. (Ages 9 – 18)
