Supercharge your summer experience with a little E&M! Learn how small electrical devices work together to do some pretty cool stuff like control a traffic light, ring a doorbell, and power an engine. Students will design, build, test, and solder an electrical circuit that can be used in a practical application. On the second day, teams of students will compete to build the most accurate magnetic launcher using some of the world’s strongest magnets! These make and take activities will provide an exciting, hands-on experience in electricity and magnetism as well as an inside look into the electrifying opportunities available at Missouri S&T. (Ages 15-18)
Please send a lunch with your child as there is no planned lunch time during the class, but they will be allowed to take a break to eat. Food will not be provided.
