Improve your Improv 1

Lots of laughter! Explorations in improvisational comedy by using: theater games including acting out quick scenes, creatively inventing new uses for odd objects, movement, expression, playing off other people and timing. Laughter and fun are our goals! Ages 9-12.

Register at least one week prior to the start of class to help avoid class cancellations. Class size is limited.

Pediatric First Aid CPR for Babysitter 1

The Pediatric Heartsaver CPR and First Aid course will prepare students to provide emergency care for the following: CPR for infants and children, choking for infants and children, and first aid for trauma and medical issues that might arise when babysitting. This is an instructor-driven course with video and hands-on learning. Students will also perform skill check-offs. Students will be provided a workbook and receive a course completion card that can be printed. Cards are good for 2 years.  (Ages 12-17)

Culinary Arts-Making Pies 2

This class will learn to make their own pie/pastry crust, add pie filling and bake.  Students will be able to taste their wonderful creations at the end of the class!  (Subject to slight changes.) Ages 9-12.

Students should bring a can of their favorite pie filling.

NO FLIP FLOPS! Students, please wear tennis shoes.

*As this is a commercial kitchen, participants will possibly be using knives and large equipment with proper supervision and we ask that a preemptive discussion about safety and following instruction be had by parents and child. NO FLIP FLOPS! Students, please wear tennis shoes.

Jazz Funk Dance 1

Students will learn the fundamentals of several different styles of dance along with stretching, strength and conditioning of muscles, traveling steps across the floor, improvisation and ending with a fun combination of steps, for the parents to see on Thursday. Ages 7-10.

*Students should wear comfortable clothes that they can move in.

Laughter and fun are our goals! Increased confidence in public speaking and performance. Learn to be quick on their feet. Explore vocal variety. Shared experiences with new friends. Lots of healthy laughter! Ages 13 – 18.

Picture Yourself As a Radiologic Technologist

Join us as we dive into the wonderful world of Medical Imaging.  Learn more about the role Radiologic Technologists play in the field of healthcare.  We will cover topics such as qualities of technologists, required skills, surgery and mobile radiography, trauma imaging, modality advancement, and much more.  There will also be time to look at unique radiographic images!  Learn these skills from registered Radiologic Technologists with many years of experience in the field. Ages 12-15.

Some clues in an old computer have led you to this ancient, crumbling bomb shelter. Can you solve a scientific mystery and find the water purifier without triggering a meltdown or getting sealed in the vault… forever? Gather a team of 4-6 players and sign up together! Ages 13 – 18.
