DSST

The Union Testing Center is a DSST (formerly DANTES Subject Standardized Tests) authorized testing site. There is a $20 proctoring fee associated with DSST exams. Veterans may be eligible for reimbursement of the exam and proctor fees from the Veterans Administration.

DSST offer students a cost-effective, time-saving way to use knowledge acquired outside of the classroom (from personal research, on-the-job training, independent study, work or military field experience) to accomplish their educational goals. 

Over 1,500 colleges and universities recognize the DSST program and award college credit for passing scores.  

Students are encouraged to speak with their academic advisor regarding the use of credit by examination in their educational planning.
