Do I need a photo ID to test?

The Testing Center will not administer exams without physical photo identification.

Examples for ECC students include

    • Student ID
    • Driver license or state identification card
    • Passport book or card
    • Military ID

Do I need to know my login information?

If you are taking an online exam, you will be required to log in with your own credentials to your course platform (Canvas, Pearson MyLab & Mastering, etc.) to locate your exam. Please look this information up before you arrive for testing. Instructions on resetting your Microsoft Office password can be found here.

Do I need an appointment?

Students do not need appointments for ECC exams at the Union campus.

If you have approved accommodations, appointments are required for individual testing rooms.

What materials and/or resources are allowed in the Testing Center?

The Testing Center staff only allow the materials faculty have approved on the ECC Exam Cover Sheet, no exceptions. Please contact your instructor in advance regarding allowed materials.

Do you have lockers?

The Union Testing Center provides small and large lockers for personal belongings. Please review the prohibited items and activities list before visiting the Union Testing Center.

What can I wear into the Testing Center?

Do you offer private testing rooms?

If approved through ACCESS services, individual testing rooms are available by appointment.

What if I require the use of a prohibited item?

If you require the use of a prohibited item while testing, please contact ACCESS services.  Prohibited items must be approved or added to current on-file documentation. Depending on the item, it may be helpful to also request the use of one of our individual testing rooms. If approved through ACCESS services, individual testing rooms are available by appointment.

What if I need a reader or scribe for my exam?

This service is offered through the ACCESS services department.

Do you sell Scantrons and Blue Books?

The Testing Center sells Scantrons and Blue Books.

Scantrons are $0.20

Blue Books are $0.50

Do you offer Saturday testing?

The Testing Center typically offers a Saturday testing option during final exam week. Please check our website for up-to-date hours and availability.
