Diane Bronstein, “Unreal City”

Diane Bronstein says, “Our world is suffering from overdevelopment and pollution. Animals and plants are facing extinction on a large scale. Humans are draining resources from the ground and seas. Weather has changed drastically. We are witnesses to these dramatic results. My smaller work  involves vintage snapshots embroidered with colorful natural elements that obscure or reveal the photo’s original subjects. The people in these photos ignore how nature will rule and continue even without us.”
