Requesting Transcripts for Admissions
As part of the admissions process, students must submit official transcripts from all previous institutions attended. Whether you’re a first-time college student, a transfer, or returning to further your education, this guide will help you understand how to request and send your transcripts to ensure a smooth admissions experience.
High School and Homeschool Graduates
Contact the school where you earned your diploma to ask how to request an official transcript. Your transcript must be sent directly from your school by email to admissions@eastcentral.edu or by mail to 1964 Prairie Dell Rd., Union, MO 63084 and must include your grades, course titles, credit hours, and graduation date to be considered official.
GED/HiSET Graduates
If you took your test in Missouri, please visit DiplomaSender to set up an account and request your transcript. The fee is $20. If you took your test out-of-state and are unsure of how to request it, you can search online for the words “GED transcript” and the state you received it to locate that the request process. Your transcript must be sent directly from the source – not the student – by email to admissions@eastcentral.edu or by mail to 1964 Prairie Dell Rd., Union, MO 63084 and must include scores and date the exam was passed to be considered official.
College Transcripts (for credits not earned through ECC)
Contact the school(s) where you earned your previous college credit. Most schools have an online form for this purpose, so we suggest visiting their website and searching for “transcript request” for further instructions. Your transcript must be sent directly from your school to admissions@eastcentral.edu, registrar@eastcentral.edu, or by mail to 1964 Prairie Dell Rd., Union, MO 63084 and must include your grades, course titles, and credit hours to be considered official.
